Super Clean Pickled Purple Onions

I feel silly posting a recipe for these because they really are super simple. But! You guys have asked so I’ll happily write it out for you. These are great on just about anything. We top our burgers, salads, Mexican food, BBQ… {any meal we eat} with this deliciousness.

Super Clean Pickled Purple Onions
  • ½ of a purple onion sliced very thin
  • ½ a jar of water
  • ½ a jar of white vinegar
  • Fresh cracked pepper
  • A couple tablespoons of your favorite herbs, chopped
  1. Put sliced onions into a jar with a lid.
  2. Fill jar half full with vinegar.
  3. Fill the jar almost to the top with water.
  4. Add spices and herbs and shake.
  5. Refrigerate and ENJOY!
  6. {Lasts for a week in the refrigerator. If they aren't gone before then.}


{This batch has fresh basil and fresh dill in it. Thyme and Rosemary work well too. Play along with the combinations and let me know what you like!}
