Smoked Pulled Pork {Whole30 Approved}

My hubby’s been working his Whole30 approved pork dry rub, after using a sugar-filled one for years, and I think he’s perfected it! He smoked a 9.5 lb pork butt today and tonight we enjoyed it with some friends. It was delicious!

Smoked Pulled Pork {Whole30 Approved}
  • 9(ish) Pound Pork Butt Roast
  • ½ Cup of Kosher Salt
  • ½ Cup of Coarse Black Pepper
  • ¼ Cup or Paprika
  • ⅛ Cup of Garlic Powder
  • ⅛ Cup of Onion Powder
  1. Remove wrapper from pork, rinse and pat dry with a paper towel.
  2. Combine all spices in a jar, cover with a lid and shake to combine.
  3. Coat pork with spice mixture on all sides and place in a 275* smoker.
  4. Cook on 275* until center reaches 195*.
  5. Once meat reaches desired temp {ours was about 8.5 hours}, remove from smoker and allow meat to rest for 30 minutes-1hr before serving,
  6. Using tongs or two dorks, shred meat and toss to coat in juices.
  7. Enjoy!!
